Getting started

  1. Unzip GCS_Spectral_Installer.zip. Inside are separate folders for macOS and Windows.
  2. On macOS: open the macOS folder, double-click the .pkg installer and follow the prompts. It installs the AU, VST3, and AAX formats.
  3. On Windows: open the Windows folder, double-click the .exe installer and follow the prompts. It installs the VST3 and AAX formats.
  4. Open your DAW, rescan for new plugins, and load the synthesizer.
  5. Plugin not appearing? Make sure your DAW is scanning one of these standard folders:
    • macOS (all users): /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/
    • macOS (just you): ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/ — look in the VST3 or Components subfolders
    • Windows VST3: C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\
  6. Activate with the license key from your email.
